A terrific read, great insights how a 25 year old CEO empowers others, creates a dynamic, innovation-focused and empowering culture in an economic environment where growth is literally impossible.  Even though a production company, the approaches, stories and models offered are valid for any organised group of people with a vision and task.

2.Tony Hsieh - Delivering Happiness: A Path to Profits, Passion and Purpose

The book is the literally one story, the experiences and insights gathered of setting up to innovative businesses.  The book largely focussed on Zappos, an online shoe business, sold at the end of a 10 year establishment period for 1.2 billion to Amazon.  Amazing and courageous, incredible natural and forward thinking is the focus on staff wellbeing, fulfillment and happiness - and equally on suppliers (yes!!!), customers and all stakeholders.  Absolutely relevant for anyone working in teams, leading a team, leading any organisation.  Additional focus in on the 'alive' values of the organisation and on energy, passion and love. Naturally, success and happiness seems to follow.

3. Anita Roddick - Business as Unusual

The late Anita Roddick shares in this book her personal and team's journey, also her business practices and how her ethical, person-centre approach shaped one of the most sought after workplaces to-work-for 'The Body Shop'.  Her unusual business has a positive image that is hard to surpass.  The book is full of her very personal stories, insights.  Her frankness, openness and also her own at times painful learning is refreshing and awe-infusing reading.
